The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Applications and Support Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the configuration, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s HRIS System. The Manager will oversee the complete administration of Company wide HR related data and reporting.
Act as a leader of our implementation project team, from system design/configuration through testing, training and implementation, including process and system documentation.
Provide support including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HCM problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Maintain HCM system tables. Document process and results.
Become the “Super User” & System Administrator to the organization in the assigned areas including: Core HR Administration, time and attendance processing, Employee and Manager Self Service and other core HCM functions.
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Develop and maintain executive dashboard reports (Headcount, Turnover, Performance etc).
Provide support to member companies on all modules in the HRIS system, understanding and managing Operational requirements, corporate core requirements and software configuration.
Act as a single point of contact for escalating issues to the application vendors and resolving issues internally. Ensure all issues are tracked and monitored on an ongoing basis.
Perform functional consulting with HR, Finance, Payroll, Information Technology, Operations and other stakeholders as required to understand current and future demands/needs, identify best practice processes to meet those needs, and successfully deploy and support HRIS solutions that will service our immediate and longer-term needs.
Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train on new processes/functionality. Train new system users as needed. Continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
Work closely with IT, Payroll, HR and Operations to manage system security and ensure appropriate levels of access.
Establish and monitor processes to assess the quality of Human Capital data throughout the organization. Propose, document, and implement new or revised processes to improve data integrity and promote the consistent use of the system.
Design and develop standard and customized, scheduled and ad hoc reports.
Act as an escalation point for end-users who are experiencing difficulties in using the HRIS system.
Develop and coordinate all training modules, refreshers and end user training as required.
In conjunction with the application vendors, research and identify the root causes for HRIS problems and own their resolution, which may require interaction with HR & Payroll, IT, Finance, Operations and/or third-party vendors.
Act as project manager on Human Capital related initiatives both system or process related. Provide frequent and clear communications regarding the status of initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of changes and work that is in progress.
Must be able to travel as required

Minimum five years experience with HCM software implementations, configuration and maintenance. Specifically, with Dayforce.
The successful candidate must possess a diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources
Must have a sound knowledge of Best Practices, a basic understanding of how databases are structured and understanding of Employment Standards legislation
Demonstrated consulting skills including strong communication, listening, project management and facilitation skills.
Proven ability to apply systems knowledge to solve business issues within HR and Operational practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and excel in a collaborative matrix environment.
Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality of HR and Company data.
Ability to communicate in French would be an asset
