The role in Commercial Finance will support Metro SCG in developing analytical models and reporting tools.  The role will also support other shared service departments with cost reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating cost budgets and monthly statistics/financial reporting and analysis supporting other shared service teams.
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools for shared services
  • Analyze complex financial and non-financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Analyze current and past trends in key indicators including all areas of expenses and capital expenditures
  • Collaborate with other teams providing analytical support and/or reporting
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Supporting Departments leads with in-depth analysis and presentations


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years in a financial or analytical role
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • They will have Advanced Excel / Modelling skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large volumes of data. They will be able to identify key business drivers and provide incisive commentary
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft office suite of products.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution skills
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and improving forecasting and budgeting
  • Humble intelligence and confidence
  • Great attitude and demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
