Metro Supply Chain named as the exclusive supply chain logistics sponsor of the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham

MARKHAM, Ontario (April 9, 2026) – Metro Supply Chain is joining the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham as the exclusive supply chain logistics sponsor of the inaugural event. The partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to the precision, timing and teamwork required to execute a brand-new world-class race track. Metro Supply Chain leverages these same core principles to engineer the sophisticated supply chain solutions that keep its customers’ operations moving forward.

As a part of this multi-year agreement, Metro Supply Chain branding will be seen around the track, with an exclusive turn branding takeover, and additional signage and video board ads across the track site. Metro Supply Chain will also be granted the naming rights to the support series paddocks. The Metro Supply Chain Support Series Paddock will house the transporters serving as the temporary team garages for the NASCAR Canada Series, USF Pro 2000 presented by Continental Tire, USF 2000 presented by Continental Tire, and the Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin.

“World‑class racing depends on world‑class execution,” said Chiko Nanji, Group Chairman of Metro Supply Chain. “The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham reflects the same focus on precision, timing and teamwork that defines our work every day, and we’re proud to support the launch of this landmark new event in Ontario.”

“We are very excited to have Metro Supply Chain join us for the inaugural Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham,” said Jeff Atkinson, president of the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham. “As the largest supply logistics company in Canada, it was important for us to have them join us as a partner at the largest sporting event upcoming in York Region’s history.”

The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham will be moving from the traditional home at the Exhibition Centre in Toronto to the growing City of Markham for the first time in 2026 on a multi-year deal. Fans can expect a fast and exciting three-day festival Aug. 14-16 with some of the best drivers in the world hitting the streets of downtown Markham, headlined by the NTT INDYCAR SERIES’ annual trip to Canada and the only international race for the 18-race series.

The 12-turn, 3.52-kilometre (2.19-mile) temporary track will be built in the eastern precinct of Markham’s downtown, between Kennedy Road, Enterprise Boulevard, Unionville GO tracks and Highway 407. Layout highlights include a double-sided pit lane, thrilling straightaways, and technically challenging sectors. The City of Markham has begun early works on the track in coordination with Metrolinx’s Unionville GO Station, including the completion of a double-sided pit lane and other roadway improvements across the festival site.
